Bounce back
The markets opened with a gap-up but failed to sustain the opening momentum and drifted downwards in the first half of the session with a lower low and lower high structure in the hourly chart. While in the last hour bulls have bounced back from the lower levels and closed near their opening level.
As per price action, on the daily scale an pin bar pattern is formed closing below the pattern will blur the vision of bulls for upside momentum. Index is hovering around 78.60% Fibonacci level for the third day. interestingly, the Index is closed around the august month closing level which is very crucial level for index to sustain. Momentum indicator i.e RSI is sustaining the 60 mark. Immediate resistance 17877 -17800 and support 17637 – 17578 for index.
Among all the sectoral indices, NIFTYREALT (2.97%) and NIFTYMETAL (2.77%) were the Top Gainers and NIFTYIT (-0.44%) have ended marginally Lower.
