Prediction for Thursday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 24,800 or down after the level of 24,600, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
The breakdown triggered stronger selling pressure, with the Nifty forming a long bearish candle on the daily chart and displaying a lower top pattern on intraday charts both signaling a negative outlook. The index dropped sharply, breaching the key support level of 24,800 and slipping below its crucial 50-day EMA, highlighting further weakness.
Additionally, the RSI has entered a bearish crossover, pointing to fading price momentum. In the near term, as long as the Nifty stays below 24,850, selling pressure is likely to persist. Resistance is expected in the 24,800–25,200 range, while immediate support lies between 24,600 and 24,300.
