Prediction for Thursday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,700 or down after the level of 25,500, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
Equity benchmarks fell on Tuesday, marking another day of losses amid weak global cues and ongoing foreign fund outflows. Persistent selling by FIIs continued to weigh on sentiment, with foreign investors offloading ₹1,884 crore worth of equities on Monday — their fourth straight day of net selling. Weakness in Asian markets and a drop in U.S. futures added to the pressure, as investors booked profits after recent tech-driven rallies. FIIs are likely to keep selling on market rallies due to India’s high valuations and subdued short-term earnings outlook.
Selling in metal, auto, and banking stocks further dragged the indices, while IT majors TCS and Infosys declined following weak U.S. economic data and uncertainty about the Federal Reserve’s next policy move. Overall, resistance is seen around 25,700–26,000, while support lies near 25,500–25,200.
