Prediction for Tuesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,500 or down after the level of 25,400, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
The index moved in a narrow range between 25,500 and 25,650 during the session. It faced resistance near the 50 EMA and couldn’t hold above the 21 EMA, which suggests that some weakness may continue for the next one or two sessions. On a larger scale, the index has found support near the upper band of the falling channel on the daily chart, indicating that the overall trend is still holding. However, a clear move above 25,600 is needed to confirm a fresh upward trend. Until then, the index is expected to stay in a sideways consolidation phase, with resistance at 25,500–25,900 and support at 25,400–24,100.
