Prediction for Wednesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,600 or down after the level of 25,500, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
The market opened weak due to cautious global cues and ongoing FII selling. However, renewed buying in index heavyweights helped the markets recover, fueled by optimism after Goldman Sachs upgraded India’s rating outlook. Additionally, some short-covering during the weekly expiry further boosted momentum in the latter half of the session.
On the technical front, the Nifty has regained its short-term moving average, the 20-day exponential moving average (20-DEMA), around 25,600. If it holds above this level, we could see a move toward 25,800–26,000. However, any weakness below this level might lead to profit-taking. The ongoing strength in banking stocks and IT sectors provides support for a potential rebound.
Traders are advised to stay focused on individual stocks, manage risks carefully, and look for rotational opportunities across sectors in this volatile market. Resistance at 25,600–26,000 and support at 25,500–25,000.
