On July 24,<\/strong> \u00a0Sensex was down 542.47 <\/strong>points at 82,184.17<\/strong>, and the Nifty was down 157.80 <\/strong>points at 25,062.10<\/strong>. About 1564 <\/strong>shares advanced, -2324<\/strong> shares declined, and 155 <\/strong>shares unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All sectors closed lower today amid market weakness. Media index fell 2.5 points<\/strong>, PSU Bank shed 1.6 points,<\/strong> Realty was down 1 point<\/strong>, Auto slipped 0.6 points<\/strong>, and Pharma dropped 0.9 points.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BSE Midcap<\/strong> and smallcap <\/strong>indices down 0.4%<\/strong> each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a steady upward move on Wednesday, Nifty lost momentum on Thursday and dropped sharply by 157 points. Although the session started on a positive note, the index slipped into losses during the early to mid-hours of trading. A slight recovery was seen later in the day, but it wasn’t enough, and the market ended near its day\u2019s low. Looking ahead, resistance is placed at 25,100 and 25,500, while key support levels are at 25,000 and 24,800.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
