On August 11,<\/strong> the Sensex rose by 746.29 <\/strong>points to 80,604.08<\/strong>, while the Nifty gained 221.75<\/strong> points to end at 24,585.05<\/strong>. Around 2,136 <\/strong>shares advanced, 1,867<\/strong> declined, and 161 <\/strong>remained unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All sectoral indices ended higher except consumer durables, with pharma, metal, auto, oil & gas, PSU banks, and realty gaining between 0.5 to 2 percent.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
