On September 17,<\/strong> The Sensex rose 313.02 <\/strong>points to 82,693.71<\/strong>, while the Nifty gained 91.15<\/strong> points to reach 25,330.25<\/strong>. About 2311<\/strong> shares advanced, 1655 <\/strong>shares declined, and 164<\/strong> shares unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Nifty gainers: Tata Consumer, SBI, BEL, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki<\/strong>
Top Nifty Losers : HDFC Life, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, Titan Company, SBI Life Insurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among sectors, FMCG, consumer durables, telecom, metal ended lower while auto, PSU bank, IT, oil & gas rose between 0.5-2.6%.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nifty continued its upward momentum, closing near the 25,330 mark with a gain of around 91 points. The index extended its breakout above the previous swing high of 25,154 (from August 21), backed by strong follow-up buying in recent sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Compared to previous days, Nifty has not only held key support levels but is also pushing toward earlier swing highs, indicating renewed strength. Going forward, resistance is expected between 25,300\u201325,600, while support lies at 25,200\u201324,800.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Technically, Bank Nifty is trading above its 20-day and 50-day EMAs, reflecting an improving structure. Prices are also above the midline of the Bollinger Bands, signaling a positive short-term trend. The index may face resistance between 55,400\u201355,900, with support seen at 55,000\u201354,600.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
