On March 05<\/strong>, Sensex was up 740.30 <\/strong>points at 73,730.23<\/strong>, and the Nifty was up 254.65<\/strong> points at 22,337.30<\/strong>. About 3116 <\/strong>shares advanced, -734<\/strong> shares declined, and 85 <\/strong>shares unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Top Nifty gainers: Bharat Electronics, Eicher Motors, Grasim Industries, BPCL and JSW Steel<\/strong>
Top Nifty Losers: Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Grasim Industries, IndusInd Bank and Shriram Finance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All sectoral indices closed on a positive note, with PSU Bank, Media, Telecom, Metal, and Power indices each gaining 3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
