Prediction for Tuesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,500 or down after the level of 25,300, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
The Nifty opened on a weak note but remained resilient in the absence of follow-through selling. The index later climbed to its intraday high after forming a hidden positive divergence on the hourly chart, which led to a bullish engulfing candle on the daily timeframe.
Following a range-bound start, domestic markets gradually moved higher, driven by fresh buying interest in banking and power stocks. The power sector advanced on expectations of sustained demand momentum, while stronger loan growth and stable asset quality supported sentiment in banking stocks.
Resistance is placed in the 25,500–26,000 zone, while support is seen between 25,300 and 24,800.
