In today’s stock market, Nifty slips below 25,500, Sensex drops 190 pts; auto, FMCG, and smallcaps outperform.

Stock Market Nifty Chart Prediction

On July 9, the Sensex fell 176 points to 83,536, while the Nifty dropped 46 points to 25,476. Around 1,973 stocks gained, –1,888 declined, and 123 remained unchanged.

Top Nifty gainers: Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finance, HUL, UltraTech Cement, Coal India.
Top Nifty Losers : Tata Steel, HCL Technologies, Hindalco Industries, Apollo Hospitals, Tech Mahindra

On the sectoral front, Metal, Realty, and Oil & Gas slipped the most, while Media, IT, and PSU Bank also ended lower. FMCG, Auto, and Consumer Durables saw modest gains.

The BSE midcap index was ended flat, while smallcap index added 0.5 percent.

Stock Prediction for 10th July 2025

Prediction for Thursday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,500 or down after the level of 25,300, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

The Nifty stayed rangebound for most of the session but slipped sharply at the end, closing at 25,476, down 46 points. FMCG and Auto led the gains, while Realty and Metal declined over 1.4%. Midcaps moved in line with the Nifty, while Smallcaps outperformed. Despite a breakout from the Flag and Pole pattern, the index lost momentum and formed a bearish candle. The Nifty now faces resistance at 25,500–26,000 and has support at 25,300–24,900.

Bank Nifty Daily Chart Prediction

Prediction For Thursday, BANKNIFTY can go up if it goes above 57,000 or down after the level of 56,200, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

BANKNIFTY (57,214) is in a negative trend. Continue to hold short positions with a daily closing stop-loss at 57,388. Fresh long positions can be initiated only if it closes above 57,388. Resistance lies at 57,000–57,500, while support is placed between 56,200 and 55,500.
