Prediction for Friday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 23,600 or down after the level of 23,500, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
Nifty continues to display a weak technical structure, forming a clear pattern of lower highs and lower lows on the daily charts. The index closed at 23,640, down about 226 points, and slipped below the 23,700 support level, which had been holding in recent sessions.
The breach of this support indicates that selling pressure remains dominant. Immediate support is now seen in the 23,500–23,000 zone, and if the index sustains below today’s low of 23,556, the decline could extend toward the lower end of this support band.
