In today’s stock market, Sensex rises 329 points while Nifty closes around 25,300; metal stocks underperform.

On October 10, the Sensex was up 299.14 points at 82,471.24, and the Nifty was up 97.60 points at 25,279.40. About 2202 shares advanced, 1587 shares declined, and 127 shares unchanged.

Top Nifty Losers :  Tata Steel, TCS, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Life.

On the sectoral front, metal index shed 0.8%, while auto, bank, consumer durables, PSU bank, realty, pharma added 0.5-1 %

BSE Midcap index rising 0.4%, and smallcap index gained 0.6%.

Prediction for Monday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,200 or down after the level of 25,100, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

Nifty index extended its upward momentum, supported by strong buying interest in heavyweight stocks across multiple sectors, and closed at 25,181.80. The rally was fueled by upbeat global cues, including robust overnight gains in U.S. tech stocks linked to AI and positive trends in Asian markets. Moreover, renewed optimism in IT shares ahead of TCS earnings further lifted domestic sentiment. On the technical front, resistance is seen near 25,200–26,000, while support lies in the range of 25,100–24,500.

Bank Nifty Daily Chart Prediction

Prediction For Monday BANKNIFTY can go up if it goes above 57,000 or down after the level of 56,900, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

Bank Nifty remains in an overall positive trend. Traders holding long positions are advised to maintain them with a daily closing stop-loss at 55,962. On the higher side, resistance is expected around 57,000–58,000 levels, while support is placed near 56,900–56,500.
