Prediction for Tuesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,200 or down after the level of 25,000, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
After a few sessions of steady gains, the market showed signs of minor weakness on Monday. Nifty faced resistance around the 25,400-25,500 levels (downward-sloping trendline) and entered a consolidation phase. After a negative opening, the market traded in a range with a weak bias for most of the session.
A small positive candle formed on the daily chart following a gap-down opening. This suggests a choppy movement or a minor downward correction. However, the larger trend of higher tops and bottoms remains intact on both the daily and weekly charts, indicating that the recent uptrend could be part of a broader pattern of higher highs.
Technically, resistance is seen in the 25,200–25,600 range, while support is around 25,000–24,600.
