Stock Market Prediction for Nifty & Bank Nifty 22nd Sept 2025

In today’s stock market, market ends its three-day winning streak, with the Nifty dropping to 25,350 and the Sensex falling by 350 points.

On September 19, Sensex was down 387.73 points at 82,626.23, and the Nifty fell 96.55 points at 25,327.05. A total of 1,992 shares advanced, 1,961 shares declined, and 163 shares remained unchanged.

Among sectors, consumer durables, media, auto, FMCG, IT shed 0.4-0.6%, while power, PSU bank rose 1% each.

BSE Midcap and smallcap indices ended flat.

Stock Prediction for 22nd September 2025

Prediction for Monday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,400 or down after the level of 25,200, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

Indian markets posted positive weekly returns, with the Nifty 50 and Sensex 30 up around 1%. Midcap and smallcap stocks outperformed, gaining 1.5-2%. Sector-wise, the BSE Realty index led with a 4% gain, while FMCG lagged. India’s CPI inflation was 2.1% in August, driven by a dip in food prices. The GST rate cut, effective next week, is expected to boost consumption stocks. Markets will focus on US tariff developments, with resistance between 25,400-26,000 and support at 25,200-24,700.

Prediction For Friday BANKNIFTY can go up if it goes above 55,600 or down after the level of 55,300, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

Fresh short positions can be initiated if the index closes below 55,253. The index may encounter resistance between 55,600 and 56,000, while support is seen between 55,300 and 54,600.
