Prediction for Friday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,000 or down after the level of 24,800, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
The Indian stock market closed much lower, with the Sensex dropping around 555 points and the Nifty falling below 24,900. Ongoing selling by foreign investors, weak global signals, and worries about new US visa rules especially the $100,000 fee for H-1B visa applications kept investor confidence low. Traders were also concerned about a stronger US dollar and rising crude oil prices, which could increase government spending pressure and cause more foreign investors to pull out.
All major sectors ended in losses, with Realty, Auto, and Private Banking stocks hit the hardest. Tata Motors fell further after news of a long shutdown at its JLR factory, while big IT and financial companies also closed lower. Broader market indexes performed worse than the main ones.
Key resistance levels are expected between 25,000 and 25,400, while support is seen between 24,800 and 24,300.
