In today’s stock market, Sensex and Nifty closed unchanged after a volatile session. Pharma and oil & gas stocks rose, while media stocks declined.

On Feb 26, Sensex was down 27.46 points at 82,248.61, and the Nifty was up 14.05 points at 25,496.55. About 2,058 shares advanced, 1,973 shares declined, and 142 shares remained unchanged.

Nifty Midcap index rose 0.6%, while smallcap index ended flat.

Stock Prediction for 27th February 2026

Prediction for Friday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,500 or down after the level of 25,300, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

The Nifty 50 witnessed another dull trading session, remaining within a narrow range and closing flat.

On the daily chart, the index is still trading below the 21-day EMA, indicating weak momentum.

The RSI has formed a bearish crossover, suggesting further weakness.

Overall sentiment is likely to remain weak in the near term. The index may drift towards 25,300. Resistance is placed in the 25,500–25,700 zone, while support is seen between 25,300 and 24,900.
