Stock Market Prediction for Nifty & Bank Nifty 28th February 2025

In today’s stock market, Sensex and Nifty finished almost unchanged on the expiry day, with mid and small-cap stocks pulling them down.

Stock Market Nifty Chart Prediction

On February 27, Sensex was up 10.31 points at 74,612.43, and the Nifty was down 2.50 points at 22,545.05. About 892 shares advanced, 2,925 shares declined, and 97 shares remained unchanged.

Top Nifty gainers: Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, Sun Pharma, Hindalco Industries 
Top Nifty Losers: UltraTech Cement, Trent, Jio Financial, Bajaj Auto and Tata Motors.

All sectoral indices ended in the red except for bank and metal. Auto, media, energy, capital goods, realty, and power sectors dropped by 1-2 percent.

BSE Midcap index shed 1 percent, and smallcap index fell 2 percent.

Stock Prediction for 28th Feb 2025

Prediction for Friday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 22,600 or down after the level of 22,500, but it all depends upon the Global cues.

The markets remained sluggish on the monthly expiry day, ending almost unchanged for the second consecutive session. After a brief rise, the Nifty flattened out, trading within a narrow range before closing at 22,545.05. New long positions can be considered if the Nifty closes above the 22,803 mark. Resistance is expected between 22,600 and 22,800, while support is seen in the 22,500 to 22,200 range.

Bank Nifty Daily Chart Prediction

Prediction For Friday, Bank NIFTY can go up if it goes above 49,000 or down after the level of 48,500, but it all depends upon the Global cues.

The Banknifty is currently in a negative trend. If you’re holding short positions, you can continue to hold them with a daily closing stop loss of 49,187. Fresh long positions can be considered if the Banknifty closes above 49,187. Resistance is seen between 49,000 and 49,300, while support lies in the 48,500 to 48,200 range.
