In today’s stock market, Nifty slipped below 25,950, and Sensex fell 151 points after a choppy trading day.

On October 28, Sensex was down 150.68 points at 84,628.16, and the Nifty was down 29.85 points at 25,936.20. About 1809 shares advanced, 2171 shares declined, and 158 shares unchanged.

In sectors, metal and PSU bank stocks gained 1.2% each, while IT, pharma, FMCG, and realty stocks fell by 0.5–1%.

Stock Prediction for 29th October 2025

Prediction for Wednesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,900 or down after the level of 25,800, but it also depends upon the Global cues.

The market was highly volatile on the NSE’s monthly F&O expiry day. However, the overall daily chart structure remains positive, with Nifty trading comfortably above the 21EMA, maintaining a bullish outlook.

The RSI shows a bullish crossover and stays in the high-momentum zone. In the short term, the index could see a strong rally if it moves above 26,000. On the upside, resistance lies between 25,900 and 26,200, while support is seen around 25,800–25,500.

A fresh long position can be considered if Banknifty closes above 58,393 levels. Resistance is seen between 58,200 and 58,500, while support is placed between 58,000 and 57,500.
