Top Nifty Losers : Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finserv, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Life, L&T.
Among sectors, metal index up 1.4%, Consumer Durables added 1%, while PSU bank, capital goods, realty, media, power down 0.4-1.4%.
BSE Midcap and smallcap index shed 0.2% each.

Prediction for Thursday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 25,600 or down after the level of 25,400, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
Markets continued to witness consolidation on Wednesday, with the Nifty ending the session 88 points lower. Although the index opened on a positive note, it failed to hold early gains and gradually weakened through the first half of the day. A modest recovery emerged in the latter part of the session, helping Nifty close above the day’s low.
On the daily chart, a moderately negative candlestick with a small lower shadow was formed. From a technical perspective, this suggests a short-term downward correction after approaching the resistance zone near the previous gap-down opening area around 25,700. Looking ahead, resistance is expected between 25,600 and 26,000, while key support lies in the 25,400 to 25,000 range.

Prediction For Thursday, BANKNIFTY can go up if it goes above 57,600 or down after the level of 57,000, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
Bank Nifty remains in an upward trend. Traders holding long positions are advised to maintain them with a daily closing stop-loss at 56,849. On the upside, resistance is expected between the 57,500 and 60,000 levels, while support is seen in the 57,000 to 55,500 range.
