Prediction for Tuesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 26,100 or down after the level of 25,800, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
Nifty opened on a weak note and drifted steadily lower through the session, forming a large bearish candle on the daily chart. After closing above the 20 DEMA for the past three sessions, the index slipped below it again, and a lower close compared to the previous day’s low signals waning bullish momentum. This breakdown points to short-term weakness and raises the risk of further correction.
Despite this, Nifty did attract some buying interest near the 20 DEMA, helping it hold a relatively stable near-term structure amid increased pressure. Sector performance was broadly negative, with no sector ending in the green. Nifty India Defence led the declines, falling 3.68%, followed by Nifty Realty, which extended its underperformance with a 3.53% drop.
Immediate resistance for Nifty lies at 26,100–26,500, while crucial support levels are placed at 25,800–25,400.
