Prediction for Tuesday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 24,800 or down after the level of 24,700, but it also depends upon the Global cues.
After a steady recovery from Friday’s lows, Nifty faced resistance near the 24,900 level on Monday. It saw profit booking at higher levels and ended the session with a gain of 32 points.
On the daily chart, a small red candle with a long upper shadow formed, indicating a consolidation phase with intraday volatility.
The overall trend for Nifty remains positive but choppy. With the index still below the key resistance zone of 24,800–25,100, some consolidation or minor weakness may continue over the next 1–2 sessions. Immediate support is at 24,700-24,300.
