On April 08, Sensex dipped by 45 points, settling at 73,466.39, while the Nifty 50 edged up by 4.50 points, reaching 22,307. Among the stocks traded, 1,946 witnessed gains, -1,310 saw declines, and 106 remained unchanged.

Leading the sector performance was Nifty Realty, which saw a 4% drop, followed by Nifty Metal and Healthcare, each down by 2.5%. Meanwhile, Nifty Auto, PSU Banks, and the Oil & Gas sectors all witnessed declines exceeding 2%.

BSE Smallcap saw a 0.5% increase, while Midcap inched up by 0.8%.

Prediction For Thursday, NIFTY can go up if it goes above 22,500 or down after the level of 22,200 but all depends upon the Global cues.

Support was noted around the 22,200 and 22,000 zones, while resistance levels were observed between 22,500 and 22,800.

Prediction For Thursday, Bank NIFTY can go up if it goes above 48,000 or down after the level of 48,500 but it all depends upon the Global cues.

Support levels for Bank Nifty are situated between 48000 and 47000, while resistance is identified at 48100 and 48200 levels.
