Prediction for Friday NIFTY can go up if it goes above 22,500 or down after the level of 22,400, but it all depends upon the Global cues.
Markets lost over half a percent after a short-lived rebound, as volatility continued to dominate sentiment. The session opened lower due to renewed U.S. tariffs on China, leading to a gap-down start followed by mostly sideways movement. Despite the MPC’s decision to cut rates by 25 basis points and adopt an accommodative stance, investor response remained muted. Consequently, the Nifty ended the day at 22,399.15, slipping 0.59%. Looking ahead, resistance is expected around the 22,500–22,900 zone, while support lies between 22,400 and 22,000.
