In the Stock Market Today, Sensex surged by 487 points, with Nifty crossing the 22,550 mark. PSU Banks stood out as top performers.

On April 25, Sensex saw a rise of 486.50 points, reach 74,339.44, while the Nifty climbed by 167.90 points, 22,570.30. Among the shares traded, 1980 moved higher, -1664 experienced a decline, and 138 remained unchanged.

Top Nifty gainers: Axis Bank, SBI, Dr Reddy’s Labs, JSW Steel and Nestle India
Top Nifty Losers:  Kotak Mahindra Bank, LTIMindtree, HUL, SBI Life Insurance and Titan Company.


Except for realty, all sectors closed with gains, with the PSU Bank index notably rising by nearly 4%, reaching a record high of 7,421.20.

BSE midcap and the smallcap indices gained 0.5%

Prediction For Friday, NIFTY can go up if it goes above 22,600 or down after the level of 22,500 but all depends upon the Global cues.

Nifty had a day of ups and downs in trading today. It began with a drop and faced volatility early on. But in the later part, it broke out of a range, leading to gains of around 150 points by the end. Looking forward, it faces a hurdle between 22,600 to 22,700 levels, while support is seen between 22,500 to 22,400 levels.

Prediction For Friday, Bank NIFTY can go up if it goes above 49,000 or down after the level of 48,000 but it all depends upon the Global cues.

BankNifty index showed considerable bullish momentum by surpassing the initial barrier at 48,300. This resurgence indicates a return by the bulls. Currently, the index is indicating a buying trend, with support levels identified at 48,000-47,900 and a potential upward movement towards 49,000 to 50,000.
